Maier see 117 – Maz.1898, 57; Bronze – 158.63 g – 68 mm – 12 h Inscription in relief within the reverse cartouche: MEROT [certainly René Gillet Mérot, who finished second in the Paris–Rouen–Paris race in January 1914, in the 750 cm³ sidecar category, and was awarded a bronze plaque (La France Automobile, 15 January 1914, pp. 600–601)].
