FRANCE - FRANCE MEDALS - France, Third Republic (1870–1940). Medal in honour of Joseph Délechette, by Henry Nocq, 1916, Paris. Bronze – 57.43 g – 60 x 40 mm – 12 h BRONZE hallmark (horn) on the edge. Superb condition. Joseph Délechette (1862–1914) was an archaeologist and curator of the Museum of Fine Arts and Archaeology in Roanne from 1892 until his death at the front during the First World War.
