MdP.M.573; Bronze – 93.91 g – 58.5 mm – 12 h Inscription engraved on the reverse: PRESIDENT C. GUYARD / JOURNEE E.S.C. FFRANCO.SUISSE / DIJON 16.11.1952. BRONZE hallmark (horn) on the edge. A few nicks on the rim. Superb. By Aleth Guzman (1904–1978), First Grand Prix de Rome in 1929, depicting two parts of the Throne of Venus, known as the Ludovisi Throne, an archaeological find from 1887 in the Villa Ludovisi, now housed in the Museum of the Baths of Rome and dating from 470/450 BCE
