Third Republic (1870-1940). Medal, congress of the national union of reserve officers in Algiers from 25 to 29 May 1930, Paris (Arthus-Bertrand).

Marked (triangle AB & Cie) BRONZE on the edge. A superb piece.
On the obverse, the statue of Marshal Bugeaud, on the Place d'Isly in Algiers, in front of the hotel of the 19th Army Corps. The work of sculptor Auguste Dumont, it was unveiled in 1852. Dismantled in 1962, it was first allocated to Albertville before being moved to Excideuil, where it was finally unveiled in 1999.
