BELGIQUE - BELGIUM Albert I (1909-1934). Medal, 25th anniversary of the Royal Archaeological Society of Brussels, by Charlemagne Magnien 1912, Brussels (Paul Fisch). CdM BrB M275/3 and M275/4 - cf. Annales de la société d'archéologie de Bruxelles vol. 23, 1909, p. 483; Silver - 11.93 g - 30 mm - 12 h Attribution engraved on the reverse: to Lucien Augé de Lassus. Hallmark (PF A R) at 6 o'clock on reverse. The obverse shows the cameo bearing the effigy of Octavian discovered during excavations of the Tienen burial mound in 1892, and kept since 1971 at Waddesdon Manor, formerly owned by Dorothy de Rothschild.
