FRANCE - FRANCE Louis-Philippe I (1830-1848). Medal, establishment of railway lines, by A. Bovy 1842 (later cast), Paris. Coll.1288 - Moyaux 121 ; Copper - 475,28 g - 110 mm - 12 h Cast on the original, with bélière. Superb. The law of 11 June 1842 ordered the construction of a network of six major railway lines stretching from Paris to the Belgian border and the Channel coast, Strasbourg, Marseille, Sète, Nantes and Bordeaux.
