Alvarez - - Forrer III p. 61 ; Brass - 2360 g - 216 mm - 6 h The reverse represents the kings and pretenders who lived in the Tuileries Palace: Henri IV, Louis XIII, Louis XIV, Louis XV, Louis XVI, Louis XVII, Louis XVIII, Charles X, Henri V and Philippe VII. Cast iron numbered 14 in relief on reverse. Some small concretions. Superb. The demolition of the Tuileries Palace was awarded in 1883 to the contractors A. Picart, Déchanaux and Lapeyre. This large cast from the same metal is the work of sculptor Victor Janvier.
