A high-backed armchair, known as a ‘Queen’s chair’, crafted from moulded and carved wood, featuring exceptional decoration comprising a band of openwork shells, branching foliage, acanthus leaves and medallions. The armrests, with their undulating shape and slight indentations, support padded armrests with cuffs. The four curved legs are finished with acanthus leaves. Upholstered in Saint-Cyr embroidery depicting Harlequin and Columbine. Regency period. Height: 105.5 cm Width: 72 cm Depth: 59 cm Normal wear and tear.
