A "Capucin" style desk with a mahogany and mahogany veneer top in a flowing design. The lid, upholstered in green leather and decorated with a frieze of gilded small-scale ironwork, reveals a retractable shelf containing a niche, a compartment and two drawers, as well as two compartments for ink and quills.
