Description
Léonard BOUDIN, born in 1735 and died on 20 November 1807. Awarded his master’s certificate in Paris on 4 March 1761. Small parlour table doubling as a sewing table, with a flowing shape in wood and satinwood veneer, decorated with a marquetry design of small flowers within scrolled frames. It opens at the top via a flap with a glass panel and at the front via two drawers without a crossbar, one of which is faux. The four legs are curved. Beautiful gilded bronze ornamentation, including spurs, lock plates and a fine ingot moulding. Stamped. Louis XV period. Height: 70 cm Width: 48 cm Depth: 36 cm Normal wear and tear.
