ENGLAND – 18th century A cubic-shaped scent box made of satinwood and rosewood veneer, with a lid featuring a latticework marquetry design. The lid reveals a mercury-mirrored glass base and four small bevelled glass bottles set in compartments lined with blue moiré silk trimmed with silver thread. Circa 1760 Height: 14 cm. Width: 19 cm. Depth: 17.5 cm. Minor damage and restoration.
