Description
Jean-Baptiste PINSON (born in 1735) A portico clock in white and turquoise blue marble with finely gilded and chiselled bronze, resting on four spindle-shaped feet. It features a decoration of friezes of lotus leaves and pearls, a garland of foliage and flowers, and a musical trophy. The white enamelled dial, with Arabic numerals for the hours and minutes, is signed ‘Pinson’ in Paris. Wire-suspension movement. Louis XVI period. Height: 42 cm Rear pendulum and slight oxidation.
