After Albert BESNARD (1849–1934) Rubens surrounded by nude women, a putto and a lion Print enhanced with watercolour and gouache highlights, signed on the plate in the lower right-hand corner. Bears an inscription “To my friend Joseph PINCHON” and is dated “1921”. H. 24 x W. 16.5 cm (visible area). Note: Illustration by Albert Besnard for the menu of the official dinner hosted for the Belgian sovereigns on 14 July 1910.
