TENO knife, 1938 model.
Nickel-plated mountings. White celluloid scales stamped with a squirrel, crossguard featuring the TENO Eagle. Blade marked with the Teno Eagle and ‘ORIGINAL EICKHORN SOLINGEN’, numbered 1271. Black lacquered scabbard with two nickel-plated fittings, numbered ‘1271’ on the pommel.
With brown leather scabbard (showing wear) and aluminium braided cord, with green stripes on the cord and the base of the tassel. Tassel in aluminium and black braided cord.
Total length: 38 cm.

According to family tradition, the item was taken from a German soldier during the grandfather’s escape. It has been kept in the family ever since.
