AMÉLIE, Queen of Portugal,
born Princess of Orléans (1865–1951).
Set of twelve autograph letters on letterhead
of the Casa de S.A.R. à Duqueza de Bragança and the Palace
of Belém in Lisbon, signed by the Count of Saint-Miguel,
Ernesto da Silva and the Countess of Saint Miguel, chamberlains
and lady-in-waiting to the princess from 9 July 1886
to 31 December 1907, addressed to Adèle Dudon, governess
to the children of France at the Château d’Eu. Some letters are
preserved in their envelopes and bear the red wax seal
bearing the coat of arms of the Royal House of Portugal.
