NAPOLEON I, Emperor of the French (1769–1821).
Set of two large commemorative medallions,
round in shape, made of pewter with a bronze patina, signed Jean-Bernard
Andrieux (1761–1822), one decorated with a profile of
the Emperor wearing a Caesar’s crown and the other with profiles of
Napoleon and his wife, Empress Marie-Louise, wearing
a tiara. Signs of age, but in good overall condition.
French work from the early 19th century.
