History of the Marshal of Toiras during the reign of Louis XIII, King of
France, published in Paris by François Mauger in the Grande
Salle du Palais, at the Grand Cyrus, 1666, in-18° (150x85 mm),
two volumes (Volume I and Volume II), fine contemporary binding
in speckled calfskin, bound with the gilded coat of arms of the Marquise,
mistress of King Louis XV, in the centre of each cover within a
frame of triple fillets, plain spine decorated with flowers, title label
in red morocco, title in gold lettering, red edges,
marbled paper endpapers. Minor repairs, but
