PARIS CITY LIBRARY.
Account of the festivities organised by the City of Paris and of all the
ceremonies that took place in the capital on the occasion of the
birth and baptism of His Royal Highness the Duke of
Bordeaux, published in Paris by Petit, Bookseller at the Palais Royal,
1822, in-12° (170x106 mm), with a frontispiece
engraving entitled ‘The Duchess of Berry presenting her
son, the Duke of Bordeaux, to the people’, after Abel de Pujol,
contemporary binding in marbled calfskin, bound with the gilded coat of arms of
the City of Paris in the centre of each cover, framed by a
gilded floral frieze, plain spine decorated with fleurs-de-lis, title label in
red morocco, title in gold lettering, marbled edges,
marbled paper endpaper. Corners slightly dented, minor
damage to the spine, but in good overall condition.
