GUERIN Jean-Urbain (1761–1836).
Portrait of the Countess of Abzac, posed in three-quarter profile.
A fine oval miniature, painted in gouache on ivory, signed in the
centre right ‘J. Guerin’, preserved under a domed glass cover, in
its original finely chiselled gilt bronze frame
decorated with a frieze alternating small stars and stylised motifs
on an amati background, surmounted by a hanging ring.
Good condition.
