MAXIMILIAN,
Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe (1898–1974).
A cigarette case that belonged to the prince, made of hammered silver,
rectangular and domed in shape, with rounded corners,
hinged lid opening via a side clasp, with
appliqué decoration of the monogram MSL beneath a princely crown in
gold, featuring a compartment for matches and a lighter, interior
in vermeil, engraved with the German inscription ‘Helmut, 1921’.
Signs of age, small dents.
No mark or hallmark visible.
