Description
PAIR OF LARGE CANDELABRA.
In bronze with a brown patina and gilded bronze, depicting
figures in the classical style representing ‘Diana the Huntress’
and ‘Apollo’, each holding in their hand a
three-armed candelabra finely chased with decorative
foliage motifs, hunting scenes and dog heads surmounted
by a lyre. The candelabra rest on a base in the form of a
curved column ending in a square plinth decorated with
acanthus leaves. Slight signs of age, but in good overall condition.
French period work. Restored.
