JEAN MERMOZ COLONIAL-STYLE HELMET, CIRCA 1930
Made of cork covered with beige canvas, with a reinforcing band of coated canvas imitating leather.
The lining is of red canvas, the headband is of coated canvas, and the leather chin straps bear the markings of ‘L. CONTIVAL DAKAR’.
Dented on the top; the crown rivet is missing
