- Renaud de LA FREGEOLIERE, *À tire d’Ailes*. An aviator’s logbook, Librairie Plon, 1916, 311 pages, with a dedication to René Fonck: ‘To the Ace of Aces, a tribute from a fellow fighter pilot. Spad 12. Presented by René Fonck to Edmond de Gavardie’
- Letter from René Fonck to Edmond de Gavardie.
- Signed typescript, 9 January 1940. In it, he urges him not to lose heart in the development of his ‘universal turret’.
Enclosed is a letter from the Minister for Armaments’ office dated June 1940, rejecting his proposal for a swivelling turret and referring him to the aeronautics technical section.
- ‘Fifteen Interviews with René Fonck’. A 126-page typescript by Edmond de Garvardie (signed Henry DUFAUR) with a table of contents and two appendices.
A second typescript, interspersed with original handwritten notes by Garvardie, is enclosed.
