PRUSSIAN Model 1860 SPIKED HELMET. High-crowned helmet, fixed spike with a Perlring on a clover-shaped base secured by brass round-headed screws (one missing). Square visor with reinforcing strip (one non-compliant side rivet). Model 1860 eagle plate, screw-fastened. A large Prussian cockade, 71 mm. Pair of flat-scale chin straps with rosette (one missing), secured by domed slotted-head screws. The left-hand fastening is missing. Black leather wolf’s-tooth lining (rear section missing).
