Description
MONTÉ GUNNER’S OFFICER’S SABRE, Model 1829, with a single-branch guard in gilded and chiselled brass, and a filigree-worked stingray-skin pommel. Blade with a wide hollow edge, marked on the back ‘Mre Rale de Châtellerault January 1835...’. Scabbard with two straps and belt loops. Very good condition. Sold with a certificate of authenticity from ‘Aux Armes d’Antan’ dated 2004.
