Regimental DRAGON sabre, 1854 model for the troops. Four-pronged brass guard. Double-hollow-edged blade with a flat back, marked “Mre Impale de Châtt 7bre 1865=Dragon Ml 1854”. Iron scabbard with two bands and loop rings (unnumbered). Very good condition. Blade length: 97 cm. Second Empire period. Sold with a certificate of authenticity from ‘Aux Armes d’Antan’ dated October 2005.
