OFFICER’S SWORD of the Empress’s Dragoons. Rich chiselling and fine gilding. Filigree hilt. Pommel featuring the imperial eagle. Triangular blade marked ‘Coulaux & Cie Klingenthal’. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Blade length: 76.5 cm. Second Empire period. BE. Sold with a certificate of authenticity from ‘Aux Armes d’Antan’ dated October 2004.
