Gilt brass handle and guard, pair of mother-of-pearl plates with chips.
Pommel decorated with acanthus leaves.
Guard shell decorated with a female warrior and a bundle of arms.
Straight blade with triangular section. Worn, illegible engraving, followed by the inscription "à Metz" on the beginning of the blade.
Gilded ornamental engravings and burnishing on the first quarter of the blade.
19th century.
Blade length: 85.5 cm. - Total length: 98.4 cm.
Fairly good condition, traces of oxidation, scabbard missing.
