[SPAIN, 1st century AD]
Dressel 9 type terracotta amphora decorated with beautiful marine concretions.
High pointed body, topped by a cylindrical neck flanked by two vertical handles.
Height: 92 cm.
With its certificate issued on 2 October 1967 by the Affaires Maritimes d'Ajaccio (lead missing).
Amphora found at the tip of Cap Corse, near the island of Giraglia.
Excellent condition.
With its red painted metal base.
