Officer's sword.
Silver-plated brass handle and guard, squared wooden spindle.
Pommel decorated with acanthus leaves.
Shell and guard decorated with a bundle of arms, the coat of arms of France with royal crown and lion's heads.
Straight blade with triangular cross-section. Engraving of the initials "SHF" on the beginning of the blade. Blued colour and engraved ornamentation on the first third of the blade.
Scabbard with two brass fittings, black leather body in fairly good condition.
19th century.
Blade length: 80.9 cm. - Total length: 93.4 cm.
Fairly good condition, traces of oxidation.
