Official ball used in the 1938 World Cup Final between Italy and Hungary (4-2) on 19 June 1938 at the Stade Olympique in Colombes.
Provenance: Former manager of the French refereeing department via Georges Capdeville, referee for the match.
General appearance: dark brown (natural leather), slightly irregular sphere, made up of 13 thick leather panels sewn together by hand, lace fastening, internal bladder and valve inside the ball.
