NEVERS Set comprising: A bowl with a curved rim, featuring a pre-Revolutionary polychrome decoration of a fleur-de-lis surmounting the inscription ‘W le Roi’ within a central foliage medallion, and garlands and foliage around the rim. 18th century (broken into several pieces). Diameter: 27.5 cm Plate with a curved rim, featuring a pre-Revolutionary polychrome decoration depicting the storming of the Bastille in the centre, bearing the inscription ‘vivre libre ou mourir’ on a banner, and a frieze around the rim. 18th century (two pieces broken and re-glued).
