NEVERS Lot comprising: A plate with a curved rim, featuring a revolutionary polychrome decoration of two palm fronds joined by a ribbon, surmounted by the inscription ‘Liberté’ within a wreath of flowers in the centre and alternating garlands on the rim. 18th century (chips and pitting on the rim). Diameter: 23 cm. Similar examples can be found in C. BONNET, *Les faïences révolutionnaires de la collection Louis Heitschel*, p. 112, no. 142 and at the Rouen Ceramics Museum, inv. 2234 (reproduced in *Revolutionary Earthenware: Collections of the Rouen Ceramics Museum*, exhibition catalogue, p. 28, fig. 113).Plate with a curved rim, featuring a revolutionary polychrome decoration of a church and a temple flanked by a pike topped with a Phrygian cap in the centre, and a frieze of floral scrolls around the rim. 18th century (chipping on the rim).Diameter: 23 cm.
