NEVERS Set comprising:A plate with a curved rim, featuring a revolutionary polychrome decoration of a bird perched on an open cage, surmounted by the inscription ‘Liberté’ in the centre and garlands on the rim. 18th century (one chip, pitting and slight loss of enamel).Diameter: 22.5 cm. Similar examples can be found in C. BONNET, *Les faïences révolutionnaires de la collection Louis Heitschel*, p. 123, no. 179, and at the Musée Carnavalet, Paris, inv. C381.Plate with a curved rim, featuring a polychrome revolutionary allegorical decoration of Liberty, depicting a cat stalking a small bird in an open cage, surmounted by a bird in the centre and garlands around the rim. 18th century (enamel loss on the rim). Diameter: 22.5 cm. A comparable example can be found in C. BONNET, *Les faïences révolutionnaires de la collection Louis Heitschel*, p. 124, no. 188.
