Provenance: Maxfield Los Angeles; acquired by the current owner from the American concept store in the late 1990s.
Introduced in 1968, the Camaro model is a true collector’s item within the Heuer universe. Although it remained in the catalogue for just four years, its production ran in a variety of versions: with or without a date, featuring three types of Valjoux calibres (72, 92 and the ‘773X family’), and dials with either two or three sub-dials. Our example is a two-sub-dial version, particularly understated and featuring a date display. Acquired from the Maxfield concept store – an iconic venue dedicated to fashion, accessories and design objects – this watch comes from the personal collection of a vintage enthusiast.
