Description
China, Qing dynasty, 19th century. The front features filigree silverwork; the reverse of the mirror is adorned with a rectangular plaque of celadon jade, decorated with a low-relief design of two small quails, the border inlaid with jadeite and tourmaline cabochons, alternating with calligraphic motifs. Two bats complete the decoration at the top of the handle. Dimensions of jade plaque: 6.4 x 7.5 cm. Gross weight: 243 g.
