Kakemono in ink and colours on silk, depicting a romantic scene, possibly illustrating the *Genji monogatari*: a young man standing outside a pavilion where a young woman is seated, both dressed in the fashion of the Heian court, with a large pine tree rising up beside the dwelling. With an apocryphal signature: Tosa Mitsuoki (1617–1691). In its inscribed box.
