In its leather case with central handle, hinged opening and sheathed in red velvet, a complete silver gilt cutlery set comprising 90 pieces: 18 pieces of cutlery (forks and spoons), 18 dessert spoons, 18 ice-cream scoops, 18 knives. Figured in a medallion of interlaced letters Subcontracted goldsmith to ODIOT: Pierre QUEILLE, inscribed in 1924, crossed out in 1947 Minerva hallmark Odiot, Paris, Compiègne model from the first half of the 20th century Net weight: 4086 g - total gross weight: 5238 g The COMPIEGNE model was created by ODIOT for the young Louis XVI in 1776, for the hunting season in Compiègne. The table cutlery differs from the entremets in that it is decorated with animals on the spatula, while the entremets are more pastoral: bouquets of flowers, ribbon bows and pearled edges.
