A calendar clock in gilded bronze and white marble, the dial set within a frame of panels, a trophy of love, a ribbon and laurel leaves resting on an entablature supported by four white marble columns and two twisted gilt-bronze columns framing a pair of doves; the base features a frieze of foliage and a basket of flowers; (minor wear).
The dial is signed by Joseph Revel (at the Palais Royal), a master clockmaker who qualified in 1775.
