According to Jacques GAMELIN (1738–1803) Plates from the extremely rare 1779 treatise on osteology and myology, etched by Lavallée. Parts One and Two printed in Toulouse by J.F. Desclassan Approximately 114 plates, including the text plates, which are amongst the most original and expressive anatomical illustrations of the 18th century. ANC The set is in poor condition: numerous blemishes, missing sections, water stains, mould and tears.
