Garrard ? silver cup. ENGLAND 1814-1815. A large silver and vermeil Medicis bowl on a pedestal or small vase, superior to 800°°°°, with motifs standing out from an engraved background: on the neck a frieze of neo-Gothic letters alternating with Maltese-type crosses, then a register of cut-out leathers, symmetrical foliage, Bérain-style inhabited motifs, and finally a round base decorated with blossoming seeds alternating with flat ovals.
Master stamp R.G (for Robert Garrard?). Passing lion hallmark. Leopard's head in escutcheon.
Mark T inscribed in an escutcheon London 1814-1815 (?).
