Leather and velvet-covered box, circa 1880, containing a menagère of mainly 925/°°° silver cutlery of the filet and numeral design, 9 forks, 9 large spoons, a ladle and 12 dessert spoons of a different design (decorated with acanthus leaves and a medallion in the Louis XVI style). EC master mark (Ernest Compère in Paris?) and Minerve title mark. Total weight: approx. 1980 g. Signed inside by Jaquot Hervieu, Caen silversmith.
