Elephant ivory-handled carving knife (Elephas maximus, Loxodonta africana or Loxodonta cyclotis) depicting a mother and her children. Single-edged blade, hallmarked at the heel, octagonal octagonal brass ferrule. 17th century work. Longitudinal cracks and natural wear. Height : 26 cm Weight : 125 gr Object made entirely or partly of proboscidean ivory elephantidae SPP (Elephas Maximus, Loxodonta Africana or Loxodonta Cyclotis) classified in Annex I/A Cites/EU.
