Description
Ferdinand BARBEDIENNE (1810–1892) After a design by Edouard LIEVRE (1828–1886) A pair of candlesticks with an ovoid body and a rounded belly, in chiselled bronze with a brown and gold patina, featuring two candle arms decorated with openwork foliage and coiled dragons. They rest on a tripod base in the shape of elephant heads. Signed by the founder ‘F. Barbedienne’ Circa 1870–1880. H.: 27.5 cm
