A mahogany and mahogany veneered second flap in the form of a simulated semainier; it opens with a top drawer, a flap and three drawers at the bottom; the flap conceals a paperweight with four drawers, one of which forms a writing desk, and displaying two morocco-wrapped cartons, as does the reverse of the flap with gilded vignettes. Beamed legs; small spindle feet. Grey veined white marble top.
