CHINA, East India Company – Qianlong period (1736–1795) A set of polychrome glazed porcelain from the ‘Famille Rose’ collection, comprising a lidded pot and a jug decorated with bouquets of flowers surmounted by friezes of lozenges; the jug’s handle is shaped like a branch. (Crack, restoration, loss, chips.) Jug: Height: 17 cm; Diameter: 11 cm Lidded pot: Height: 10 cm; Diameter: 8.5 cm. ALSO INCLUDED are a porcelain pot and a small plate, in the ‘Famille Rose’ style, decorated with a variety of flowers surmounted by a frieze of foliage. (Lid missing, restoration.) Pot: Diam.: 10.5 cm; Height: 11 cm Plate: Diameter: 16 cm.
