PETINIAUD-DUBOS, Charles (19th century). “Barque animée”. Large oil on canvas, signed lower right. 81 x 130.5 cm. Restoration work, re-lining and damage. Wooden frame with gilded stucco (damage) Charles Pétiniaud-Dubos (1822 or 1823 – 1906) was a French painter whose work was exhibited at the Paris exhibitions in 1844, 1848, 1856, 1897 and 1902. He created the interior decorations for Saint-Étienne Cathedral in Limoges in 1843.
