PETINIAUD-DUBOS, Charles (19th century). “Figures in a Boat”. Large oil on canvas, signed lower right. 130 x 171 cm. Restorations, relining and damage. Charles Pétiniaud-Dubos (1822 or 1823 – 1906) was a French painter whose work was exhibited at the Paris exhibitions in 1844, 1848, 1856, 1897 and 1906². He created the interior decorations for Saint-Étienne Cathedral in Limoges in 1843.
