19th-century French school. Draft of a chair dated 1806. Watercolour, pen and black ink, black pencil (41 x 25.5 cm). Inscriptions in the top right-hand corner and dated ‘1806’ in the bottom left-hand corner . Slightly sun-faded, with small stains. An accompanying design for an imperial ornament (23.5 x 37.7 cm). Provenance: former collection of Paul MERIGUET. Expert: Cabinet de BAYSER – 01 47 03 49 87.
