FLIPPING TABLE Veneered wood inlaid with brass fillets, the rectangular top inlaid with lozenges and a mother-of-pearl and brass flower monogrammed "MF", pivots and unfolds to reveal the felt of a game board. It also reveals a tilting writing surface topped by a small sliding tray and two inkwells. It stands on four tapered, fluted and braced legs. Late 19th century. 77 x 60 x 40 cm. A mirror is missing from the tilting tray and the rod is missing.
